Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialists
These specialists include individuals from relevant professional practice disciplines who have a master’s degree or higher and a professional license from a state regulatory agency and who have achieved the Mental Health Specialist competencies described in the Training Guidelines (PDF). They provide prenatal, infant-family, and early childhood mental health services within their scope of practice in the areas of promotion, preventive intervention, and treatment.

For this endorsement you must choose one age group specialization:
- Infant-Family Mental Health works with children ages 0-3 and families
- Early Childhood Mental Health works with children ages 4-5 and families
- Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health works with children ages 0-5
