Endorsement application to request endorsement in any of the endorsement categories. You are requested to mail the application fee of $375 (made payable to Wested) at the time you submit the completed application online.
Supplementary application ($75, made payable to WestEd) to request category changes or additional endorsement categories. You must currently have an endorsement as TMHP, MHS, and be seeking a change such as ATMHP. MHS, RP I/II or Mentor.
Candidate Status application ($95, made payable to WestEd) to initiate a MHS or TMHP/ATMHP endorsement and request support during the application process. Final submission is due within 5 years and the file will be sent to the review panel upon receipt of the remaining application fee payment.

Resume – this will include education and work experience related to employment working with children ages 0-3 or/and 3-5 and their families.
Personal statement – a few paragraphs stating who you are, how you came to be working in this field and why you are seeking endorsement.
Learning and experience narrative – outline of the training you received in the knowledge and experience domains. This document shows the didactic clock hours of training for college classes, workshops, conferences, agency and specialized training courses sorted into the appropriate knowledge areas of Domain 1. The clinical experience/direct services to families and children ages 0-3 and/or 3-5 shows hours that were supported by the required amount of reflective practice supervision in Domain 2.
*Reflective Practice Facilitation support hours provided by a supervisor using RPF competencies will be accepted for experience prior to January 1, 2017. Hours after that date need to be provided by a Reflective Practice Facilitator or Reflective Supervisor endorsed by the California Center or another national endorsement system.
**If you completed an IFECMH training program, you still need to submit the learning experience narrative. In Domain 1, you may reference the detailed transcript certificate that meets the criteria in each knowledge area.
Documents – scan the training certificates, transcripts, and attendance documents for the knowledge area Domain 1.
Letter of recommendation – requires a letter from your supervisor or trainer who knows your work supported by reflective practice facilitation to meet the criteria requirements for Mental Health Specialist or Transdisciplinary Mental Health Practitioner.
Letter of recommendation – for the Reflective Practice Facilitator application requires an additional letter to recommend this endorsement from a person who provided you with training, mentoring or supervision.
Email verifications – for the reflective practice facilitator (RP I/II) endorsements require three emails from practitioners you provided reflective practice to.
Email verifications -for the RP Mentor endorsements requires three emails from practitioners you mentored to become reflective practice facilitators.
Reflective practice mentoring video and reflective statement – view details on the expected content and format of the required 15-minute video and short narrative demonstrating your facilitation skills with someone you have mentored to become a reflective practice facilitator.
